James McCrann

Hi I'm trying to find out James mccrann fathers name he was 62 in 1913 when he passed away. He was baptised in Drogheda Co Louth about 1850. His mother was Ann Dignam.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You need to look through the register the same way as you found the McDonnell baptisim

I found his death record he was I  an asylum in Dublin so this might give his parents names

Unlikely, unless one of them was the informant, death certs only give name, age, occupation, marital status,  cause of death and informant which in this case is likely to be someone from the asylum.

When did he die?

It's a difficult both parents passed before 1899 no records to confirm who they where
