Gamlingay and Barrington baptisms 1832/3
« on: Thursday 16 August 18 02:53 BST (UK) »
Genuki tells me that baptisms for 1832/1833 for both Gamlingay and Barrington are at Cambridgeshire Archives.

Does anyone know if they are available elsewhere, or does anyone have any transcripts or CDs which contain these baptisms?

I am looking for Samuel John Barltrop Allbon - 20 Feb 1833 - Gamlingay
and
Elizabeth Jane Coleman - 24 Dec 1832 - Barrington

This couple married in Islington in 1857. His father is George, a grocer. Her father is John, a farmer.

Information is from a tree on Familysearch so unsure of accuracy. I do not know if the dates given are for births or baptisms.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

That is wonderful Comberton, thank you very much.

Since posting this question I have come to the conclusion that sadly, this is the wrong Elizabeth. I found this Elizabeth with her family on a few censuses including the 1861 as an unmarried 28 year old. "My" Elizabeth was married to Samuel in 1857.

I am still working on finding the correct Elizabeth. I think I have found her with Samuel but have run out of time today to investigate further so will continue the search tomorrow.

That is definitely the right Samuel though.  :)

Thanks again.
