I was born in St Saviours Mother and Baby Home in Northampton, on the *. My birth name was * and my Birth Mums name was *, she was 16 years old at my birth. I have no information about my Father and am hoping beyond hope that someone may have known my birth Mum and recollect some information that could help me.
My birth mother *  told me she had given my father a picture of me when i was born taken in the home, however she did not give me a name.

My adopted name is * and my married name now is *.
If anyone has information that could lead me to find my birth father i would be very grateful

Unfortunately we can't search for living relatives on here

However if you search her name she married in 1969 and had more children and also had two brothers - they may be able to help

Hi Alison

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

As iolaus has pointed out, we have a clearly defined 'no living people' policy. Added to that, Rootschat is a forum for finding out about our historic ancestors, not reconnecting with missing friends and family. There are other sites on the www far more suited to that purpose.

Please take a few moments to read our guidelines for posting

Have you applied for access to your adoption file to see if there is more information in that?
