Can anyone assist in the looking up of a death certificate for a Michael O'Donnell who is believed to have died February 1864 aged 70.   I have been told that the death was registered in Louisburgh and I am reluctant to apply for a death certificate unless I can get this info corroborated.  Michael was married to a Mary and lived in Carrowmacloughlin, Mayo,

From list on left you can choose Births etc also 1800's or 1900's...

Informant John Odonnell son Carrowmacloughlin

These earlier deaths on Roots normally don't show cause of death, as it was in 1864 I doubt  if you did manage to order a cert it would not show any other information.

The 1901  Census for Carrowmacloughlin

Patrick Odonnell 50  wife Mary (maiden name Kittrick)  they married 18 Dec 1878 he was 24 wife was 17 from Aylemore.  Fathers name given Michael also noted Groom father decd, married in Louisburgh Church.

Mary Odonnell  mother aged 80yrs shown also with the family, she died 13 July 1905 of Bronchitis aged 90yrs. the informant was granddaughter Bridget.

The ages on these marriage, death cert are often guess espically with the earlier ones.
