Hi All,

I am not sure if this is a new topic or not as the search function on RootsChat does not seem to be working.   Does anyone know what is happening with the Rootsweb Worldconnect website?   It seems to me to be changing all the time and a lot of the information provided is appearing on Ancestry.   Anyone know what is happening?

The Search facility is working fine for me- when I search for 'world connect' I get lots of results.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Worldconnect is a sister company of Ancestry, so you can expect to find Ancestry details there.

Hi All,

Thanks for the answers.   What I was concerned about was that when I put all my trees on Worldconnect it was not connected to Ancestry.   Now it seems all my information is slowly appearing on Ancestry, not in the same form as the trees I originally submitted but as primary sources.   It is all very mysterious.  Had I wanted all my trees to appear on Ancestry I would have put them there myself.

This has also happened in the past, I only have my tree on Worldconnect, yet a few years ago it was showing on Ancestry. Last I check it wasn't showing on Ancestry.
However I currently can't work how to find if my tree is on Ancestry today.
