Hi helpful persons!
I know that the Baltch or Balch name in Brewham, Somerset has been mentioned a few times on the forums. The person i'm looking for is James Baltch. I know he married August 1780 in Brewham to Sarah Eaton. I know they had a daughter Sophia or Suffiah, my ancestor, in April 1782 and then what looks like twin Boys Joseph and Benjamin in 1783 who both died soon after. It doesn't look at the moment as if they had any more children. I can't find James birth record which i guess would be around 1760. The parish register online is so faded and messy! Also there appears to be a few Balch/Baltch couples having children in the same period.
