Looking for a John Berry birth abt 1864 in East Ham, Essex, son of John Berry and Jane Magiff.        He went to Australia abt 1900 and worked in the Broken Hill Gold and Silver mines. If anyone could help I would really appreciate this as I haven't been able to find much and he seems to be the only person in my Mum's family that could have connections in Australia. He is actually my Great Grandmother's Brother so would love to find any family  Thank you

The only GRO registration in 1864 +/- 5 years in Essex is below.

John Berry West Ham, Essex Q2/1863 – Volume 4a page 35

He was living in East Ham with his parents John & Jane in 1871

However there is a 1911 census for a John Berry and wife Susan.

There are some family trees, which show this John Berry as born in 1864 in East Ham, Essex. He married Susannah Adams in 1905 in Hornchurch, Essex. He died in 1922 in Essex. However none link him to John & Jane.

The birth registration above is the only way to be sure.
