Maybe here....  https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0074   Liscarroll  Diocese of Cloyne | County of Cork

Yes Baptized here....

You can look for Marriage

Marriages 1826  https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000634603#page/159/mode/1up  and work back through register to see if they married there!

The best clue I could find was in the irish Tithes Applotment books see http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/
Donegan  {Mrs}       Balinarnadaugh or Rockspring   Liscarroll   Cork   1833
Donegan   {Mrs}      Rockspring         Liscarroll   Cork   1833
Donegan  Wm         Lackeroe,Lackenagrane   Liscarroll   Cork   1833
one or other townland might help, the website justs gives the amount of land no relationships

Edmund Sales and Johanna Donegan had a daughter Bridgid, Ireland, Catholic Parish Registers, 1655-1915.
I cannot find any other records for Edmund Sales and Johanna Donegan. (Ancestry, FindMyPast and FS)
Any suggestions please  ( I am assuming the parents are Irish)

Unwise to make assumptions.
Another enquiry on here about a girl born around same time in County Tipperary eventually turned up information that her father was in British Army and had done 2 tours of duty in Ireland, with children born there during each visit. Same result with several other enquiries about Irish-born people.
Keep an open mind. That tv series is called "Who do You Think You Are?" for a reason.  :)

Yes I did think about that possibility... and I have had a look but as of yet cannot find an Edmund or even an Edward that may have and although I haven't had had "uninterrupted" time to seach I haven't succeeded in finding him in Irish records in the relevant time span.
On holiday next week so maybe I will get a "break" lol.
I appreciate any suggestions, many thanks everyone! :)

A break is always needed, when you come back revived and crackling, did you look up marriages or even the baptism. I did the latter and was astonished to find myself reading a microfilm which gave two witnesses . could they give you clues? Hallmark you are remarkably better than a shotgun.

One thing I always recommend is that if someone is looking for someone then they should look for them...    ;D

A good introduction & guide is Irish Genealogy Toolkit
 https://www.irish-genealogy-toolkit.com

A guide to church records is on drop-down list under the heading Genealogy on Home page.

See Resources list on Ireland board on RootsChat too.
