The above was the son of Henry Edmunds or Edmonds 1848-1936 and Sarah Ann Catharine nee Hicks 1847-1882; he was on the 1881-1901 censuses living in Hastings and at the latter with his widowed father and 2 siblings. His father married again to Susan nee Lenard but she passed away in 1892. At 1911 his father was living at Hastings Union Workhouse but Bertie wasn't with him?
