I have the above in my tree but would like some help to locate more information and dates please.
1929 just before he was married he was living at Jenniston Road, Motherwell.
James Scott married Helen Williamson Rose in Cambusnethan 1929.
His parents were Robert Scott and Grace McCormack.

His birth/marriage certs can be downloaded from the same website if you want the actual dates

His death can be established using the same site and the year he died will determine whether it can be downloaded or whether you will have to buy a copy

Why would the 1911 census show when he died?  Wife died in Lanark

Have you bought a copy of his wifes 1989 death cert to see whether James was still alive at that time?
