Do you know his wife's name?

1851 census in Manchester states his wife is called Margaret. Do you have the marriage?

His wife is Margaret.  But I don't have maiden name.  Can't find marriage certificate.  All the children birth places are from the census.  For Thomas, born later, there are lists of maiden names which might be a possibility.  I have not checked each of these out.

Looks like William also became a drum major.

Looking at the original image of the damaged 1851 census.......the Samuel you have looks like Sarah. Clearly states daughter?
