Yes on his birth it states Mary Williamson 1899 29th December Avondale :)

There is an 1891 entry for a John Kirk aged 15 shown as born Garscadden Dunbartonshire parents Robert & Eliza - see earlier 1901 entry Carscadden Renfrewshire

Let’s know when you download the 1899 marriage cert and if it’s the right parents I’ll post the full entry
