Thank you, once again! I will ask my brother in Sligo to visit the cemetery in Mohill in the quest for headstones. Thank you Hallmark (CP? as you mentioned Australia - we spoke on Ancestry before!), is your family member in Mohill a Percival, or connected? would be good for my brother to have a point of reference in Leitrim! thanks again. I used to photograph g/stones ar cemeteries that might help others but as no one else seems to want to do the same to help others I gave up.........

Do you know how Thomas connects to John Percival and Annie Rosemount?

wondering if there are any descendants of the Anne rosemond/John percival line still living in leitrim so family in Sligo can visit - see homesteads etc. anyone got any suggestions?. I'm several generations down (Thomas perceval/ irwin - frances Percival (m. James C Price) - William Arthur Price - Charles Patrick Price (my father). thanks.

How does Thomas connect to John Percival and Anne Rosemount?

From the other thread
How could two families seem to be in two counties at roughly the same time.  I have baptism of five children to John and Percival and Ann Rosemond in Clonguish Parish at Lissagernal..Alexander 1821,Elizabeth 1822,William 1824,Arthur 1828 and Eliza 1836.This was provided by Longford Genealogical society.

There is more to that post but it's appears to be just a list of Percivels in the area.

This one indicates that John and Annie moved to Aughriman, so in the correct area.
The baptisim records of 4 of the children of John Percival &
Anne Rosemond show their address as Lisagernal,Clonguish
Parish.Co Longford where John Percival was a constable in1826.About 1830 the family moved to Aughriman,Kiltoghert
Parish,Co leitrim.

Is   Perceval   Thomas    30 May 1838    Leitrim   Mohill     Annaduff     Drumod More

....and the Thomas who bought 56 acres in Aughriman for £600 cash  the same Thomas?

Has anyone checked to see if he registered it?

I see "John Percival and others" sold Land  in Aughriman to Thomas...

1.  Does anyone know who "the others" were?

AND

2.  Does anyone know if it is the same date??

Nobody mentioned that Thomas Percival of Drumshambo was Thomas Percival ESQUIRE of Drumshambo.....

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he was one of the Temple House Percivals!!   SLIGO
