Hi all,

I apologise if this is the wrong forum for this post...

How do I keep old newspaper clippings so they don't deteriorate further? They are from the 60's I think and are quite yellow and have been folded and are a bit ripped too.

Thank you very much

Caz

Hi Caz

First thing I would do is a high res scan, and use my photo software to repair the backup, at least you will have a digital record of the clippings.

I am sure someone here will have an idea for the originals.

Please feel free to post the scans on this forum if you cannot do the restoration yourself. As I have not done a newspaper clipping before I would look forward to the challenge.

Regards
Ken

Hi Ken,

I will try and scan it in tomorrow. Thanks for offering to fix it!

Best wishes
