Looking for more information on Caroline Padget
« on: Saturday 25 August 18 21:36 BST (UK) »
 Hi everyone

I am seeking more about Caroline Padget daughter of George Padget a labourer she was born in 1873 from 1939 register. First husband William Henry Sykes then she married John Turner 1947 Register Office in Islington in Canonbury. Both  certificates  state her father as George Padget a labourer. There are some trees on Ancestry but not sure about them.  I cannot find on 1881census to start with or baptism. . It is not my direct line just interested in extended family.

Also which would be nearest cemetery in 1956 1957 for this area of London.

Thank you to anyone that can help.

Not at all, the information is all helpful.

I see the 1901 census but not having any luck finding her before the first marriage as Padget(t)  :(

I wonder if we could find her or William at the address given Brick Lane in 1891.

I'm not familiar with London either I'm afraid but there are plenty of people here who are.

Long shot but if the birth was a year out to better match her age at marriage there is this one under Catherine

Catherine Paget Dec 1872 Poplar mothers name Gregory

I know it's not Caroline but you never know.

Good Evening, cheers thanks Millepede

Robert Isaac Sykes..married Emma Ann Day, so got abit on these..

In 1881 Wm Henry Sykes with father at 2 Commercial Street Bromley by Bow as Scholar with father and family.

Dont think I got the 1891...for Sykes, I should have

Residence Electoral Register London
1892 •  86 Empson Street Bow and Bromley, England (Robert Isaac Sykes father of Wm Henry)

Caroline seems a mystery...doesnt she..

There is a tree on ancestry but the family seem all over the place, Bradford Yorkshire etc...so not sure.
