Quite right Heather, I searched for his death in Saint-Omer weeks ago and found nothing . Anyway I really can't imagine that the dead soldiers of a battle were registered in the registers of the city where the battle took place. Same thing nowadays.

In the 1780s to his death was Louis X1V  also had title of Prince of Orange?
