St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey/ burials
« on: Thursday 30 August 18 06:39 BST (UK) »
I am looking for the death of James Archer after 1821 probably in Bermondsey

His children born 1813 through 1822 are all baptized at this church with the address of Long Lane or Long Walk.

1841 his wife Jane is in Spitalfields with youngest daughter Sophia (Eliza Sophia)

Jane was buried Christ Church 22 March 1846 age 52 of Freeman Street where she was living 1841.

Cannot be sure when he was born, he married  Jane Clitter 1812 S Andrews by the Wardrobe, both were single and of St Anne's Blackfriars.

The general hospital Greenwich, this is not the Military Hospital?

From batisms I know he was a Size maker 1813, Fat maker 1814, Carman 1816 and 1822.
His wife Jane was baptized 1792 so the age difference (1785) is not that much.

It's a possible thank you for helping.
