Obit Request - Eric Hawkswell Briggs SHARP D:1994

I was hoping someone in Renfrew might have access to 1994 newspapers to look for an obit for Eric Hawkswell Briggs SHARP.

He was born in Sept 1910 and was 83 when he died, so I'm guessing he died between Jan-Sept 1994. Sorry I can't be more specific. I'm hoping a local library might have an index.

I live in Australia, so ordering a cert for £12 is plan B.

SP Ref is 643/213 Renfrew (would 213 indicate that he died earlier in the year?)

If there is an obit in the local paper you would need to know the eact date,they are usually on microfilm and copied by each week edition. So to look through a whole year's editions would take weeks and weeks
