D'Acre Family From France to Mountrath Laois Ireland
« on: Sunday 02 September 18 08:20 BST (UK) »
Hi:)
Im researching my Direct Line of D'Acre That went from France to Ireland
My ggggrandfather was William D'acre   Married to an Alice(Unknown last name) Had a Son Robert D'acre Born circa 1762   May have been other Children    William D'Acre Apparently According to an Old Family Bible Written in French Started a Silk Weaving Industry in Mountrath Queens County    Have yet been able to find concrete evidence re that    Apparently William died soon after death of son Robert
Im very interested in this D'acre Family heritage   The name D'acre was Anglicised to Deaker In Ireland
Anyone else researching D'Acres?
thanks
Cathy:)
