It's a shame when a poster cannot be bothered to appreciate the work done by the restorers. We all put time and effort into working on the photos posted, we enjoy doing it, otherwise we wouldn't do it, but a simple thank you is great to receive and goes a long way to encourage us to help other people with their photos.

Please be patient folks. If the praise comes, enjoy it. If it doesn't, it doesn't.

We're all putting in our efforts to make history come alive and into sharper focus. Doing such a task is personally what I really enjoy. Any praise should first come from within for doing a good deed. Praise from the person you did the good deed for is icing on the cake. if the icing comes or not, either way... you still have cake!

My two cents.
I just like to do photo restores.

I am so pleased you are not annoyed with me for my little rant yesterday. I really enjoy restoring and colouring photos and now know you appreciate the effort we all put in.
Unfortunately there are some posters who never give us a please or a thank you and it really is a bit off putting.
I am happy you like the results from everybody.
