Who is Francis Brady Haydocks (bn 1850) father on his birth cert?  I see his mmn was Mills.
  Or on his marriage cert?

I asked earlier, but I don't think we have heard.

I dont have a birth record either. The only birth info I have is from the 1861 census,

The marriage certificate should give a father’s name and occupation which may help.

Snap!
If marriage isn't in parish registers it seems to me that you will need to buy marriage certificate. Otherwise it's scrabbling around in darkness. Where was marriage, or has that information already been posted?
Edit. Or a birth certificate. Unless baptism or marriage is in a parish register.

Francis Brady born 1850 is the son Francis Brady senior B 1827. I dont have mothers details of Francis snr, it is that which i am looking for. I only know that Francis Brady was born 1827 Salmesbury Lancs from the 1861 census. But a birth record seems v hard to come by.

Sorry - have I missed something?

How do you know that a Frances Brady bn 1827 in Lancs is the same person as Francis Brady Haydock who married Harriet Mills in 1849 in Devon?

Have you got the ref for that 1861 census with him on? Im not spotting it ...
