Was it not death of Francis in Calcutta?

Hello again,
Do you have Francis’ death?

FindMyPast shows the death of Francis Heydock 27th June 1870 in Calcutta. He had joined the Calcutta Police shortly before having been a Color Sergeant in the Royal Marines. There is a description of him too.
Harriet shows as married in 1871  :-\

Heywood

Perhaps Harriet hadn't received the news? Or was clinging to the hope that it was a mistake and he would return?

Maiden stone again the voice of reason... communication would have taken forever back then so why wouldnt she hope he was still alive?
Still looking for the record. (feeling a bit like a schoolchild who has to do her homework again.. properly!)

OK Found it! I am missing something? it doesnt say much?

Is it the image of a book? You just have to go through the pages.

Again the rookie shows its colours!! Yes it is a book so i will now go back and work through it!

Blimey What a shame so little known about him, and he was a pensioner so how did he end up in the police in india... is there anywhere I can understand a little of this history? PS Love the RC changes O.M.G to Blimey no offence meant to anyone just an expression of amazement!
