I am making the most of it as I have not had a sub for a few months even though I have an account and have had many subs before. Occasionally I get an error message but it is probably due to many people using the free weekend. Strike while the iron is hot.

I am getting the Dashboard though, only started getting that yesterday when I often check the site every Friday for FindMyPast Fridays.

Not sure about anyone else - I have World Pro membership (and have had for 3 years), and my term has also been extended by 3 days.  Well done FindMyPast - at last we are being compensated   :D :D

I have World as well.

From FindMyPast Terms & Conditions:

"The Free Access and Free Weekend Emails will provide full detail of how your particular Subscription or Credits are affected during the Free Access or Free Weekend.

World Subscribers will receive an additional three days added on to the end of their current Subscription period, free of charge. This is cumulative so that for every Free Access Period or Free Weekend offered during the applicable Subscription period, three days will be added. If we offer three Free Access periods or Free Weekends during the applicable Subscription period, nine free days will be added to the end of the Subscription period."

Seems a bit unfair that only world subscribers are compensated for free access weekends. I'm sure many like me have had UK subs since the days of 1837-online.  I didn't get an e-mail explaining how free access would affect my sub. Did anyone?

I suspect that only World subscribers get extra days as F M P consider that those with only UK membership have access to World records while the offer is on.   I think they should perhaps have offered an additional day for those people.

There's some logic to that, but yes, one extra day would have been a nice gesture.

I too pay 'full whack'. The site seems to be running slightly slower than usual today, but apart from that I've had problem at all accessing anything  :-\
