Find My Past - free access weekend - 7th-10th Sept 2018

It seems to arbitrarily send me to the subscription screen now and again, and actually show me records now and again. I'll take what I can get

Ok, I actually went and read the thing, it says it's doors open at 9am on Friday morning. I guess I have to wait a couple more hours for full access to things.

It's past nine am here in Australia and I am being sent off to subscription screen now and again too.  It is annoying.

I'm working on the assumption that it will work at 9am UK time. Having said that I don't actually know where Find my Past is based, I just always have used the .co.uk site so I assume British time.

Findmypast is owned by Scottish Publisher DC Thomson according to their website

I have been using it.  It sent me to sign up once but I tried again and got the record I was after.

Blowed if I can get in!

I am completing a "register for free" screen, details, password and then click and get a choice of packages to purchase.

Is there a trick to it?

Maybe you will have to wait until 9am UK time, it is not quite 8am yet

Sue I think the trick was to get in early before they caught on.  I can't get in now.  I have sent them an email.  Noticed I am becoming a grumpy old lady now.
