What is happening to Rootschat?

Thought that I would just look to see what topics were showing and all I get is a lot of Chinese? type script.
Has this forum suddenly been inundated with requests from people from there?

Nope,  just some scammer trying it on.   I expect there's loads of action happening behind the scenes to overcome this.

I think it's all automated. I have no idea what the purpose of it is.
