Praise to the Moderators
« on: Friday 07 September 18 14:58 BST (UK) »
Last night (6-7 Sep, UK time) a post containing utter gibberish appeared on a board from a new user.  It was reported to the board moderator.  The message was repeated multiple times and this was rather worrying to me!  I logged on today (about 10-12 hours after) and was delighted to find that the posts have been deleted

So, I just wanted to say (and I'm sure all genuine Rootschatters will agree)

Well done and thank you

to all Moderators for all their work in keeping this wonderful website a secure and happy place.

Philip

I think that the majority of RootsChatters are VERY grateful to the Moderators, and to the majority of other members (sorry, there are always those who try to take advantage!  :-X)  We are all here to help each other - common interest obsession with family history.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
