Oooooh!  Nasty mind, maybe, BUT I wonder how old she was?

I've got a marriage in 1767 - he admitted to being 60, and she admitted to being 25.

Also, not ever so sure that love came into it  :o :o :o :o

And did he leave a will?  How much did she get?

(my cynical mind is working overtime  :o :o)

As Mrs. Merton said to Debbie. Magee “ what is a young woman like you doing marrying an old millionaire like Paul” or words to that effect.

Actually I think they were a very happy couple .

I did not like “Mrs. Merton”, too cruel for me.
Debbie came over as very genuine
,and what a performance when she was on
“Come Dancing”amazing at her age .
She was interviewed later and of course Paul Daniels was mentioned and her eyes filled with tears and really it was real grief  I  am sure.
She did come out of that interview with Mrs. Merton very well, kept her dignity and sense of humour
I do think  she and Paul Daniels were very happy together.
