William Thomson of Peterhead Mystery

Trying to Find info on William Thomson of Peterhead he was born to parents
William Thomson and Catherine Reid - 14- 4 -1874 in Peterhead

i cannot find anything on this man marriage or death only  the 1901 cenus
 
he is listed in 1901 as a boarder at 7 crooked lane peterhead, occupation seamen ,

trying to find info on this man and his  family as he is my great grandmothers uncle and very little is known

I had a quick look on the Royal Navy Register of Seamen's Services and couldn't find a match, so he was most likely a merchant seaman.

I'll keep hunting.

Hi from what I can see the William Thomson b Peterhead was aged 26 occ Seaman living as a Boarder with a Jane Grant at Crooked Lane in 1901?

Your looking at 1881 census rather than 1861 I would think the info matches what I’m seeing for 1881 not 1861
