Inscription from Welsh bible

A relative recently gave me some old Victorian-era bibles belonging to our shared ancestors. As the couple who originally owned them came from Wales one if them in in the Welsh language as is the inscription on the first page. Can someone translate it for me.

There are quite a few Welsh speakers on Rootschat, so I won't embarrass myself by attempting a proper translation.  I think the inscription is congratulating the couple on their marriage in the Welsh Independent Chapel on 2 July 1874.  Here is a link to the notice of the marriage in Y Dydd, on Welsh Newspapers Online, which gives the names of the couple:

and explains that they were given the bible because it was the first marriage in the chapel.

How interesting as the marriage of Mr and Mrs D Jeremy  took place at the Congregational Chapel, Sloane Street, London on 2nd July 1874, and the inscription is in Welsh.  I'm not a 'native' Welsh speaker but have enough to have a go at the translation.  No doubt someone born to the language will come along to confirm or otherwise!

Drosybont - the marriage notice in the newspaper is amazing, thank you. I have just translated it into English on Google. This is very special to me because David Jeremy is my step great-great-grandfather and I am named after him, or more specifically his grandson also David who died in WWI.
