The men with caps are artillerymen without doubt, the others likely to be.  The white uniforms are either cooks or the canvas uniform issued for fatigues around camp.

Not sure I agree with this being WW2, looks earlier, WW1

Yes it is WW1 my granda is sitting 2nd in from the left front row.

Yes, his name is Henry or Hendry Gray (b) 1891 (d) 1953 he lived in Glasgow I think his address was 38 hallside street C5 gorbals. that is all I know of him ,

Can see 1 Pollok St Glasgow C5 1938

I see no service or pension record (ie the ones which identify a man ) for him.
 Many Henry Gray's in branches of the Royal Artillery but these have no personal identifying info.
Was he married during the war and if so does the marriage cert have any details of service?
