Lincoln's Inn Registers
« on: Thursday 13 September 18 16:45 BST (UK) »
I have in my possession a pair of bound volumes (dating from 1896) of records of Lincoln's Inn, including transcriptions of its chapel registers.  I bought them for a modest sum from the Inn's library when it was having a clearout a few years ago; they were otherwise destined for the tip.

Contents:

Admissions: 1420-1893
Baptisms:1716-1806
Marriages: 1695-1754
Burials: 1695-1852

If anyone wants a lookup, let me know :)

Edited: I now realise that these are available in digitised form on the Inn's website, but my offer stands.

I'm not sure if this is relevant for you, but it could be useful to see if the digitized records of The Inn's Archive includes the records that you have.

Thanks Trystan - yes I belatedly discovered that they're already out there in digital form (and have edited my opening post accordingly), but I remain happy to look up any entries of interest.

Lynne, I have been away from work (where my bound volumes are) due to Covid complications, but if there is anything you can’t find online do post on here and I will look it up when I can.
