Elizabeth Shaw/Richard Taylor
« on: Friday 14 September 18 16:41 BST (UK) »
Can any help please with information on Elizabeth Shaw and her marriage to Richard Taylor. Elizabeth was Christened 3/9/1815 in Knaresboro', I believe her parents were William and Hannah. The pair were refused marriage banna in 1834 by Harrogate as they were both out of parish, but by 1841 they were living in Hunslet, Leeds with a 3 yr.old daughter....did they ever bother to marry ? Richard died in November 1859, age 46 and was buried in Hunslet. Elizabeth remarried a George Morill in 1866, and by 1891 was a widow again living in Knaresboro.
I am lookung for Elizabeth's first marriage details, and info on her death/burial,  also birth details for Richard and anything on his parents/siblings, please.
    Hope you can help, Thanks.
