My Great Grandmother Kate Madeline Young born 6th July 1892 Allahabad, Bengal, India. Married in 1911 in India to Clarence Charles Turnbull Pereira. He sadly died in 1913 in India. She remarried and became Kate Lawrence/Laurence and had a son Marcel Anthony Roger Lawrence/Laurence in 1925. I cannot find her second marriage. Does anyone know why second marriages are hard to find?

Ah, the mysterious Mr LAWRENCE/LAWRENCE date and place unknown, but after 1913.

What would help is if we knew the birthplace of Marcel born 1925.

Am I missing something - where is the information that she died in London from?

Philip, think I saw it on FamilySearch. Death registered Hammersmith, in 1970s.

Thank you for all of your help it is much appreciated. Yes, I believe she did die in London in 1970 I need to order her death certificate to be sure. I just can't find a second marriage to Mr Lawrence/Laurence which is frustrating.

Marcel's birth record on FindMyPast (FindMyPast) provides minimum information. Re. these records FindMyPast notes -

Marcel's father's given name should (no guarantee) be available from the 1925  record.
