Norman

Can you answer my questions above please.  You have said

I do  know that Pamela has died.
but have not responded as to when and where.

How do you know she has died?

As explained above - Rootschat has a no living persons policy so unless you are able to give us that information we would have to assume she is still alive in which case no info can be posted

Hi Norman

Rootschat really isn't the place for this type of research as the dates of interest are too recent and involve potentially living people.

In these circumstances the school, internet or local studies library may be more appropriate.

It took seconds for me to find the link aghadowey posted, there are also a couple of facebook pages which might be helpful.

A Disappointment, that for the 1st time ever Roots Chat has failed to provide a lead for me.
If I knew how I would close this enquiry

You have given very little info to base any search on.  Basically you provided a name,  possible birthyear and a “whisper” of where she may possibly have gone to school

As advised - Rootschat does not allow info about possible living persons to be posted and although you have said you know she is deceased - you have failed to give info to enable us to confirm that despite being asked on 2 occasions

You haven’t provided any info as to whether she married or even where she was born and if you check the BMD indexes you will find a lot more than one entry for her name.  Perhaps you could tell us how we determine which of the many entries is the right one?

People have spent time and effort to search for ways to help you in your quest and found websites where you might find further information. I would class those as leads considering the very limited information supplied.
It is disappointing for you but with such recent events, often that is the result.
