Can't find the barker family.

My genealogists head keeps telling me there would have been a few more children between the birth of Thomas and Catherine.

If William was a hawker it will explain the children's different birthplaces so maybe that's why I can't find them on the earlier censuses they could be anywhere in the country.

Wow these families were determined not to be found. I've searched thousands of census pages for the Barker's and the Burton's on all the censuses using a mix of known first names, different surname spellings, no birth places and no birth dates and still not found either families on any census.

It looks like Ann Elizabeth Burton was not  born in Bradford as there's no birth record for her in Bradford but there are a few in other parts of Yorkshire. Argh !!!!!

One family missing off a couple of censuses is understandable but all of them until 1891 is unfathomable.

There is also a John Burton 23 yrs b Hull and James has mmn Burton at GRO

I did find a Burton family in Hull earlier, I think so will have another look now.

I spotted the William Barker record and as a french polisher it but it would explain the different birth places of their children but I dismissed it for some reason. Doh!
