There is a 24 November 1816 baptism for a Mary Maria Kettle (born 20 November 1816) entered in the register of All Saints, Norwich on a certificate of Jas. Thompson, curate of St Michael at Thorn.

Parents: James Kettle (sawyer) and Sarah, of All Saints’.

Does that sound like she 'married' a cousin then?

Cousin?  I don’t follow :)

Possibly of interest: in January 1833 one Ann Cable, wife of Robert Thomas Cable of Peter’s Lane, Cow-cross [Islington/Clerkenwell] was a witness in an Old Bailey trial of an Elizabeth Martin for larceny.
