John Atkins married Ann Watts at Hanwell Middlesex
« on: Wednesday 19 September 18 06:28 BST (UK) »
Trying to find the parents of this couple or any children please.

A Susannah Watts married the same day 12 November 1813 to a William Ballentine who also was a witness to Ann Watts marrying John Atkins, my assumption they were sisters

Thanks, I missed John 1792

There is also Elizabeth  12 January 1777 and William 15 November 1778.

William Watts married Elizabeth Dewberry 18 February 1776.

I am trying to find the correct John Watts who married Susannah ? mentioned in the will of a relative 1790 as a coachman to Lord Sefton. So I began tracing Watts families in the Harrow, Hanwell, and West Drayton areas to find a connection. Did others work for Lord Cremorne? This John Watts would be too young of course but naming patterns are familiar.
A previous enquiry gave me a Richard Watts age 58 coachman to Lady Cremorne who was killed in an accident 1821, it made the newspapers he married a Lucy Stevens.

I missed Elizabeth & William I put too much focus on Ann & Susannah and started at 1780.

The only John Watts marriage I can see in the London records on A…y was to Susannah Sherley. 15 Jun 1742 St Gregory by St Paul, City of London. The record States that he was of Bexley, Kent and she of the same, both single.

No apparent children in the first 9 years then a couple of possibilities in different areas, which leads me to think there was more than one John & Susanna/h Watts about?

Later marriage records for John Watt/s.

Susanna Morley (Signed Susannah) by licence 13 Jul 1754 St George in the East.
Both single otp.
Winesses James? Bellamy & Sam Bright (he signed most that day).

Susannah Nind (her signature similar) married by licence 1 May 1772 St George, Bloomsbury, both single, otp.
Witnesses John Coleman & R Harrison (he also signed the next record).

Hope some of this helps?

Thank you. Susanna Morley looks promising.
