John Gough Paxton, born 1881

I have found the reports in the Warwick and Warwickshire Advertiser in 1921 and 1922 of the misdemeanours of John Gough Paxton. In 1922 he was sentenced to 9 months hard labour. Is there any way I can find out where the sentence would have been carried out and if he survived ? I cannot find any record of his death.

Yes there should be a record of his sentence.
1922 is a bit late for online records.
Warwick record office have a Calender of Prisoners 1800-1900 online but nothing after.
i'd get in touch with them to see what they hold after that date.
Of course he could have been imprisoned at Winson Green in which case the records may be at the Library of Birmingham.#
An email to both should fine out.
He was born 13 Aug 1881 and doesn't appear on the 1939 index so he either died or moved by then.
