Henry Beard

Good Morning all, Still trying to find details of Henry Beard baptism and marriage to Mary Marriner, he was a Mariner, but their burial place happens to be St. Margaret Westminster Middlesex, Henry's date 12/6/1741, Mary's date 19/5/1740, and their daughter Christian Wells (nee Beard) date 11/3/1792. This appears to be a family plot. and trying to find his baptism, and marriage maybe at this same place which I am having a hard time to locate the right direction.

Findings on your previous thread suggest that ‘mariner’ is Henry Beard’s occupation, not Mary’s surname. Perhaps this has been misunderstood?

The parish record for the baptism of Christian Beard at Stepney in 1718 reads:

December 28
Christian D: of Henry Beard of Wap: Mar: & Mary his wife  15

which should be understood as ...

Christian, daughter of Henry Beard of Wapping, mariner, & Mary his wife, 15 days old

There is a faded record on A….y which shows Henry Berd married Mary Flowers
