Some-one kindly sent me a connection to a site for look-ups on marriages in Yorkshire which showed the Church that a marriage took place in. Have lost this very useful information. please help as it is so useful to know which records to find and where to look up.

Could it be http://www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk? This covers much of Yorkshire (though not all).
Transcribing Essex records for FreeREG.
Current parishes - Burnham, Purleigh, Steeple.

The Yorkshire BMD link does show the church or register office in which the marriage took place.
