Latest update:

On 31st May 1891 the family were living at 41 Finchley Road, Walworth.

I am never too sure how to access an address on census records. Can anyone help me please ?

I subscribe to Ancestry. I eventually found 41 Finchley Road and they are not there but would love to know if there is a way I could find the relevant district without trawling through every single one.

I haven't got the Ancestry 1891 England census search form in front of me, but there should be an opportunity in the lower part of the search form to specify location - district, parish, is there not also street name there?

Thanks.  No street name option in 1891 then.  This is why I do my address searches on FindMyPast :)
