I think the bottom chap with the white hair, Xin.

He has the same broad forehead and prominent cheekbones as your handsome original.

Personally I would agree with Igor and go for the bewhiskered gentleman at the bottom. For me it's all about the nose :)

Facially I think he is a perfect match for the man with beard, but compare the ears.

The young chap has long ears and the bearded man has small ears ....

You would expect the ears on the old bearded man to be even longer as ears tend to keep "growing".  :)

I totally get your point about the ears Ruskie, they usually get longer. However all the men in the smaller images seem to have ear lobes that are higher than the nostril line and the big image has ears lower so where does that leave us?

I’ve resized them and horizontally flipped images 1 & 2 for a side-by-side comparo.

Xin, do the originals provide any further clues for dating the images?

For me there’s not enough to go on, but I’m wondering if we’re looking at three generations: 2 & 3 look like brothers, while 1 looks like he’s from an older generation and 4 looks like he’s from a younger generation. But beware: I’m usually wrong. ;D

Perhaps if you could post further clues as to the age of the images, we might be able to get a little closer.

I know all 3 (not in Masonic Robes) are Father son and Grandson 3 generations.

I was then given the singular pic of The Smart man in Masonic outfit  -- and not sure which one he is.   Yet I am sure he is one of them.  ??

Does being a Mason help with the year.. ???

dates of birth etc  for the 3 gens are:

1830 ---- 1922
1855 ---- 1923
1877 ---- 1932
