Further to my search for my relative Henry Westbury born 1756 married Mary Page 1780 Highworth, Wiltshire, Died 1834 aged 78, buried 21 September 1834 at Eastleach Turville, Gloucestershire, England. I am seeking Henry's parents. It now seems very likely that Henry was not born in Gloucestershire, but more likely somewhere near, Highworth, Wiltshire, But I am totally stumped!
Also Henry's grandson, John Westbury born 1824 father, Thomas Westbury. John Westbury emigrated to Australia 1858 having married Ann Kilmister(nee Page) in Highworth, Wiltshire in 1856. They had a daughter, Cassandra. John Westbury, Wife Ann, Daughter Cassandra arrived in Australia (I assume Sydney) on the ship the "Castilian" 13 June 1858. I cannot find any passenger list, however I have found evidence of the Castilian arrival 13 June 1858. John Westbury remarried 1876, Tenterfield NSW to Hannah Hoult, both Ann and Cassandra Westbury appear to have died not long after their arrival in Australia but I cannot confirm this? Can anyone assist me with these answers? Thanks Grahame
