I confess I have fallen at the first hurdle on this one.

OK - There is John Anderson bn 1914 and wife Henrietta living with Lavinia Holder, and William and George Holder, at 4 Avon Street in 1939.  And we know Lavinia is mum in law.

But how to we jump from this to a father Henry bn 29 Oct 1892 on the 1939?   Have you got Johns birth cert ? What was father's occupation on that?  Has that led to Henry's marriage cert?  Age and occupation and fathers name from that? Then to censuses with his family … and then to 1939....

His father's occupation on his marriage certificate was a General Cartman..

Occupation ties in with the 1901 previously posted.

"Henry Anderson supposed to be born (according to 1939 census) 24th October 1892"

Where was he born according to 1901?

Have you found Henry, Maria & Fred (from 1901 census) on a 1911 with parents or just mother or just father?

It is only people with an Ancestry subscription  that could see your link  :)

For the future, It is generally better if you type out the information you have rather than post snippets.  Snippetts are normally only posted on here when something needs deciphering.

Looks like the marriage mentioned in post 3 was at St Philip, Elswick according to the marriage locator.

I wonder if John had been married previously as Elizabeth dau age 15yrs would have been born before the 1888 marriage, or is Elizabeth, John's wife's dau born in a previous relationship.
