Heath Family in Cheshire
« on: Friday 28 September 18 08:24 BST (UK) »
Hello. I am looking for information about this man's parents. I have Heath ancestors from Sussex, Herefordshire, Warwickshire, and London, but have not found any family connection to Cheshire. I believe that this person is related to my Heath family; however, I need to find that connection. Robert is the earliest member of this family that has been found: Name Robert Heath
Event Type: Christening
Event Date: 1 Apr 1771
Event Place: Tarporley, Cheshire, England
Gender Male
Father's Name John Heath
Mother's Name Martha

I've tried searching Geni, Family Search, and Google to no avail.  Any assistance is appreciated.

Baptism has Robert son of John Heath of Eaton & his wife Martha.  Prior to Roberts baptism there is one for a sister Elizabeth 1769.

John Heath (Farmer) married Martha Cookson by licence 21 August 1768 -Tarporley

If you live in England or Wales then a lot of libraries have access to FindMyPast and/or Ancestry.

Added:  When I was living in the area until the 1970's, there were still a lot of Heath families in the vicinity of Eaton and Tarporley.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Thanks. I don't live in the UK.  I know there are still Heaths living in the areas where my direct ancestors come from.

Thanks. I don't live in the UK.

It may be an idea to add your location to your profile then hopefully we won't suggest you visit places in the UK for research  ;)

Thank you.

Why do you think that your Heath's are related to this Cheshire family  :-\

This is based upon a conversation with a member of the Heath family from Cheshire.  There are quite a few common first names between the families, so I am trying to find out if such a connection exists.
