What became of Ann DALE last located in 1861 census
« on: Monday 01 October 18 00:23 BST (UK) »
Looking for Ann DALE daughter of William DALE & Eleanor GARNER. Ann was baptised about Dec 1839 although as yet I am unable to locate her baptism. Her parents were living at Somerby. I have located her in the 1851 Census at Somerby.

Also the 1861 census at Round Hill Lodge, Dartmouth Road, Lewisham, London, England

I don't think Ann would have been baptised in 1839 as on the 1841 census she is 4 months old (transcribed as 2months)
A tree on A*****y gives her d.o.b.as 22 Dec 1840 ( but that tree is not reliable)

Her father William is a widower by 1851 and possibly Eleanor died Sept qtr 1844

Hello Suzard,

You are right so possible a birth about Dec 1840.  William died in 1858 and Eleanor in 1844.

Thanks David.  It seems neither Ann or her brother James were baptised or their baptisms are missing??
