Family "alluded" to (?)

http://www.rootschat.com/links/01msr/

The Frederick, son of Richard, would appear to have been born "1905"
as per replies #4 and #7 (?)

I am still asking where I've gone wrong?

The poster is asking for advice re: RAF records and does not appear to be asking for the ancestry of his Gt uncle at this stage

If the 1900 birth is the correct one - his mmn was Harmon and therefore links to the Harry Herbert/Louisa Harmon marriage - details of which you posted earlier

In order not to waste time/effort looking for people with "invalid" detail, I attempted to verify the start point.

That's all.     ( I don't see anything wrong with that )
Typo? Speeling?  :) DoB?      (Anything could be wrong.)

Original post = "His father was Richard James Hebert."   ( not Harry )
As you have now said . . . . . "If the 1900  is the correct one ",      then father cannot be Richard

Either the Father is incorrect or the DoB is incorrect . . . . .

maybe putting this one (back) in the frame
1905  Qsep ISLINGTON  1B  155  FREDERICK  EDMUND HERBERT mmn POYNTER
(Parents  = Richard & Martha)

Kayla

If his mothers maiden name was Poynter then he was not born 1900 as per your opening post.  He was Frederick Edmund Herbert born 1905 as per Ray’s reply at #6

You are looking for RAF records that are not available online.  See link given in my first reply

In 1939 he was living in Lewisham and was not at that time in the RAF so may have enlisted during WW2

Kayla

Frederick appears on registers/rolls from 1934 onwards ( with your grandmother and others )

There is a clue to his possible RAF career.
Due to Rootschat Copyright Rules re 1939 Register, I cannot post the detail here.
You'll need to look it up yourself ?
