Thank you Heywood...i have no evidence that Thomas is the brother of Francis...but just going on that they both come from galway.and both ended up in tynemouth.and they are both in the same age bracket...jenny

How do you know Francis was from Galway? Do you have other information besides the censuses?
I agree re the Tynemouth connection however.

I havenít seen it in censuses but as you say, both Thomas and Francis are  in Northumberland in 1851 and 1861.
Francis isnít with his family in 1851 - have you found him?

in the 1851 census i don't know where he was then....
