Can someone please help restore this old 1950's Hodgeboon family photo?
« on: Sunday 07 October 18 08:54 BST (UK) »
Dear Rootschatters,
Would someone please be kind enough to clean up and perhaps colour this old 1950's family photo? The people are the Hogeboom family of Destin FL and their extended family would really be thrilled to have a clearer copy.
From left side of photo, Bud Hogeboom, Mary Heine, Maurice Hogeboom, Eddie Hogeboom, Pat Marler Hogeboom, Jake Hogeboom.
They were a very community-minded family and donated lots of time and energy to local churches. Pat Marler Hogeboom worked for 20 years at the local post office and Jake Hogeboom was the only school bus driver in Destin, FL ( a small fishing village back then) in the 1950's. In fact, he was my school bus driver for several years and he was a wonderful man.

Really a Great Family!

Thank you so much once again!

Billy

That's beautiful Pat! I really like the color changes in the clothes they are wearing. It gives definition to the people and their figures as well as adds needed colour to the photo.

Fantastic Job! Thank you so much once again!  ;D

Hi Peter,

Those are both remarkable restorations! You really made the faces of the people clearer and sharper and did a great job of "tidying up" the clutter in the photo.

Thank you so much for applying your talent and skill to this old photo.

It is much appreciated ! :)

all the best,

Billy
