I am trying to find out about my daughter in laws Gt Grandfathers service in the Army.

James Burrows was in the 12th Royal Lancers - 8th Army Desert Rats & his service number was 3389941.
The above info was given her by a close relative & hopefully is correct.
My daughter in law would appreciate knowing more about James service etc as he was always spoken about fondly when she was younger.
